This Privacy Statement applies to the collection of personal information via products, websites, competitions, events, webinars and mobile applications operated by APIS Europe JSC (hereafter just APIS). We recognize that visitors of these websites and users of the products may be concerned about the information they provide to us with, its collection, use, and disclosure and we believe we should address those concerns. APIS is registered as a Personal Data Administrator and is committed to protecting your personal data according to the law on protection of personal data and industry best practices in respects to security around personal information.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
Generally, you can visit our websites without entering any personal information. On certain pages, we may ask you for personal information to provide a service or carry out a transaction that you have requested. You may also provide some personal information to us when you contact us.
APIS collects information about individuals, users and professional’s in variety of ways including but not limited to: direct from the individuals, publicly available information, and through cookies, and/or similar technology. We do not share with others any of the information you provide, unless we say so in this Privacy Statement.
When you register for our services - directly or via your employer, we ask you to provide some personal information, for example, contact details (such as your name, title, company/organization name, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers and physical address); your nationality and country of residence; if required payment card information, and/or certain additional categories of information resulting from use of our websites and services. You are not required to provide any of this information, but if you do not, we may not be able to provide you the requested services or complete your transaction.
APIS may use this information to offer you products and services that we believe may be of interest to you. Moreover, each promotional e-mail communication we send includes an unsubscribe link allowing you to stop delivery of that type of communication. When you contact us for customer support, we may ask you to provide information about your computer or about the issues you are trying to resolve. Without this information we cannot help you and answer to your questions.
When you visit our products or web sites, APIS may track information about your usage and/or visit, and store that information on in usage or web server logs, which are records of the activities on our products or sites. The information we may collect include: your unique Internet protocol address; the type of browser or your operating system; the date and time of your visit; searches or queries that you conducted via our products and/or websites etc.
The information we collect in usage or web server logs helps us administer the products and sites, analyze its usage, protect the products and/or websites and its content from inappropriate use, and improve the user's experience.

APIS maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, or against accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration or dissemination, and against other unlawful forms of processing. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access that are located in facilities to which access is limited. We also use intrusion detection and virus protection software. We do remind you, however, that no Internet transmission is ever completely secure. We also recommend that you sign out of your products, accounts or services at the end of each session. You may also wish to close your product terminal or browser window when you have finished your work, especially if you share a computer with someone else or if you are using a computer in a public place. Our sites or products may contain links to other websites such as professional and government organizations and publications. Although we try to link only to websites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices employed by other websites.
